In the app

When the app launches, you’ll be able to delete your account from inside it: Settings → Delete account. That removes your account, your settings, your contacts list and your check-in history from our servers, and deletes the information stored on your phone. Deleting the app from your phone without deleting the account first stops the reminders on that phone, but please use the in-app deletion (or email us) so the server copy goes too.

By email

Email [email protected] from the address on your account and say you’d like your account and data deleted. We’ll confirm when it’s done. If you are a contact on someone else’s account and want your number removed, email the same address and we’ll take care of it, you never needed an account to be protected by one.

The register-interest list

If you only registered interest in the launch, every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and one email to [email protected] removes you completely. No hard feelings, no follow-up questions.

What deletion covers

Deletion covers the personal data we hold about you as described in the Privacy Policy. Records we are legally required to keep (for example, store billing records held by Apple or Google) sit with those providers under their own policies.
